Situated in the quiet crofting village of Melvaig, close to Gairloch, and with private beach access, the cottages overlook the sea and the isles of Skye, Harris and Lewis. The Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve and the Torridon Mountains are just a short distance away.

Melvaig has a traditional pub/restaurant near the beach, where there is also a slipway for launching boats. The area's attractions include: whale-watching and marine trips, including visits to the puffin colonies on the Shiant Islands. Salmon, sea trout, brown trout and pike fishing.
Also bird-watching, falconry courses, golf course, pony trekking, boat trips on Loch Maree to see the Viking graves. Bike and car hire, deer museum, deer stalking,guided hill walking/climbing, sea kayaking, swimmin pool and National Trust Inverewe and Attadale Gardens.
The rugged coastline is a haven for nesting birds, seals, whales and otters.
