SPECIAL FEATURES
The cottage was completely remodelled and renovated during the summer 2007. This also includes new beds. The cottage is fully equipped and we supply bedding and linens. The cottage is kept VERY clean. Almost everything is new and to date every guest has been extremely satisfied. The cottage is located on Lake Scugog and is an excellent location for ice fishermen, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and ice skating. We do not have a sandy beach waterfront but there is a dock. One minute around the corner is a playground with a sandy beach. There is also a free boat launch two minutes away. Golfing is also close by at Wolf Run Golf Course. This is located in View Lake, 10 minutes drive east. There are also other golf courses to choose from in the area.


INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
View of waterfront from master bedroom, livingroom and back door and very large back deck. Very clean and well kept. New flooring throughout. Ceramics in the kitchen and the bathroom. Laminate in the bedrooms and the livingroom. The kitchen and bathroom were fully replaced and are bright, fresh and clean! Freshly painted throughout and all new lighting fixtures. The home is heated by a forced air gas furnace.


EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Waterfront with dock and large property. New (2007) and extensive decking on front and rear of cottage. Sit on the front deck and look out onto green pastures and a view of the waterfront from the back deck


ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Boat launch 1 min away. Port Perry 10 mins west. Lindsay 20 mins north/east. Toronto 1 hour south/west. LCBO, movie rentals, post office, bakery, pizzeria, arena, basketball court, baseball diamonds, childrens playgrounds, golf course, 3 convenience stores..... all within a few minutes drive. Drive-in movie in Lindsay with two screens to choose from as well as shopping and numerous cultural and physical activities. There is also a movie theatre downtown Lindsay that charges $4.25 for all seats everyday. Port Perry has wonderful, unique shopping and a multitude of diverse activities are offered as well. During the winter months there is also a multitude of winter activities. Ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice skating and several down hill ski resorts within a short distance. Lakeridge, Dagmar, SkyLoft and Devils Elbow Ski Resorts are within a 30 minute drive. Kirby/Oshawa Ski Club is 40 mins.
